2017 Dinner in the CanyonsAdd to Calendar
October 7, 2017 5:30 PM
The Annual Dinner in the Canyon is an evening like no other. Nestled in the lush and legendary Indian Canyons with only the stars above, and the gentle Desert breeze whispering through the palms. With exclusive privilege to the Museum, Andreas Canyon is once again our backdrop for the evening, beginning with the Sunset reception at 5:30 overlooking the ever changing vistas that are the Coachella Valley. This is followed by a sit-down dinner in the historic home of the Agua Caliente People at 6:30, surrounded by the magical serenity that has made this canyon famous around the world.
While the majestic setting may be enough, 2017 is slated to be more exciting than ever. Just before them leaving for a tour of Asia, Steven Rushingwind and the Native Groove will be stopping to perform live on stage. This multiple NAMMI nominated and award winning group will offer their unique blend of Native and Jazz music to add yet more excitement to an already packed evening. We will also welcome back a Silent Auction during cocktails and a Live Auction during dinner; all proceeds benefitting the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum, its program, events and exhibitions.
Inspiring people to learn about the
Agua Caliente band of Cahuilla Indians and other Native Cultures please join us
for this very special evening and be a part of the future.
