Presenter: Tim Tingle (Choctaw)

Tim Tingle is an author and storyteller who will entertain us with readings from his book, How I Became a Ghost* -- a fictional first-person account of a young boy who “becomes a ghost” on the Trail of Tears, but stays on the walk to help family and friends survive. Mr. Tingle has spoken at the Library of Congress and performed at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Crossing Bok Chitto, his first children’s book, was Editor’s Choice in the New York Times Book Review. Bring your family and friends, including youth!
