Presenter: Jona Kalayjian
March welcomes the Vernal Equinox – the beginning of spring. Two years ago, we started a Native Plants Garden on the patio of the Museum. On the lawn In front of the Museum, Joan Kalayjian, Education Outreach Coordinator for the Museum, will examine the traditional uses of some of the plants now growing in the Native Plants Garden. Learn how Cahuilla Indians used plants and animals for medicine, food, shelter, and clothing in the Coachella Valley.
