Agua Caliente Cultural Museum holds two major fundraising events each year, as well as exhibit opening receptions.
Every October, Dinner in the Canyons - the Museum's premier fund raising event - is held under the stars in scenic Andreas Canyon. The evening begins with a cocktail reception, then is followed by a three-course dinner, a live auction, and Native entertainment. Guests enjoy the sights, sounds, and cuisine of Native peoples at this most unique event. This year's event will take place on Saturday, October 11, 2008.
Every March, the Museum presents its annual Festival of Native Film & Culture in partnership with the Camelot Theatres. Feature, documentary, and short film screenings delight and educate audiences from throughout Southern California. Special opening and closing night receptions offer a chance to rub elbows with the stars, filmmakers, and other celebrities.
The 2009 Festival will be held March 4 through 8 at Camelot Theatres, 2300 Baristo Road, Palm Springs.
