In keeping with its mission to inspire people to learn about the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians and other Native cultures, the Museum presents diverse and engaging special events, in addition to a variety of lectures and classes.
On the second Saturday of October, Dinner in the Canyons - the Museum's premier fundraising event - is held under the stars in spectacular Andreas Canyon. The evening begins with a cocktail reception followed by a three-course dinner, Native entertainment, and a live auction. Guests enjoy the sights, sounds, and cuisine of Native peoples at this enchanting event.

Singing the Birds (Wikitmallem Tahmuwhae): Bird Song & Dance Festival celebrates traditional bird singing and dancing. Bird songs are an oral history of Cahuilla Indian life and affirm who we are and where we come from. The traditional way of performing bird songs and dance has been adapted to present-day cultural events.
