Yucca Bread with William Pink

Thursday April 19 at 4 PM-8 PM

Willy Pink will teach students how to make yucca bread from the local plant of the yucca. Panu'ul or Yucca is an abundant source of food and fiber. Mr. Pink will teach students the process of making a sweet tasting bread from a staple plant from the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains.

William Pink is Cupeno and Luiseno Indian. Mr. Pink is a very known throughout Indian country for his skills as an artist, activist, tribal leader, and  traditional ecological knowledge. William lives on the Pechanga Reservation. Don't miss this chance to work one on one with William Pink.
