Yes. Tickets are required for entry to visit the museum. The museum currently offers tickets Tuesday through Sunday. The museum is closed Mondays. First ticket time is for 10 a.m. start on each of those days. Final tickets will be sold for a 4 p.m. start. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your ticket time to allow for check-in.

After purchasing your ticket(s) you will receive a confirmation email with a barcode. You may print out that email or just bring the confirmation email on your phone or tablet. Once museum staff scans your ticket it will show as redeemed.

Free admission, with ID at check in, is offered to Tribal Members of U.S. federally recognized tribes, active duty and retired U.S. Military, and children under 6. Discounted admission is offered to seniors age 65+, students with a college ID and Coachella Valley Locals with ID including a local zip code.

The museum parking lot can be found just north of the museum on Andreas Rd. located between N Indian Canyon Drive and N Calle Encilia. Street parking is also available on E Tahquitz Canyon Way, Indian Canyon Drive and E Andreas Rd. around the museum. Complimentary covered parking is available at the Agua Caliente Casino Palm Springs located just short walk north east from the museum.
We recommend allowing between 1-2 hours for your visit.

While we do not offer a restaurant in the museum, there are many food options in the downtown Palm Springs area which are within easy walking distance of the museum. We recommend trying the MálMal Café at the Spa at Séc-He for lunch.
Food and drink are not permitted inside the museum, with the exception of bottled water.
Yes. The museum's bag policy is as stated: The maximum bag size permitted within the gallery is 12” H x 12” W x 5” D . Regardless of size, bags may not be carried on the back. All permissible bags must be- hand-carried at the side, carried to the front, placed under a stroller, and or attached to the back of a wheelchair or mobility device. Medical exemptions to bag restrictions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Yes. Two (2) standard, self-powered wheelchairs and one (1) walker are available on a first-come, first-served basis, at no charge. Personal mobility devices, walkers and canes with rubber tips are also permitted in the museum. To borrow a wheelchair, please ask at museum Welcome Desk. If you require the use of a wheelchair from the museum parking lot handicap drop-off area, please call the museum upon arrival and someone can come out to meet you.
Yes, we welcome service animals. The Agua Caliente Cultural Museum abides by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and allows service animals who are trained to do work or perform specific tasks for the benefit of an individual with disabilities, into all the public areas of the museum. The ADA does not currently recognize emotional support animals, therefore emotional support animals and all other animals not specifically covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act are not permitted within the museum.
Yes. There are several areas in the museum where we request non-flash photography for the preservation of the pieces on display. There are also a few areas that we request no photos be taken. No professional video recording or professional photography is permitted within the museum without prior authorization.

Yes. Strollers are permitted in the museum. Please be advised that double-wide strollers and long strollers may be more difficult to navigate in the galleries.
Yes. Please visit the Welcome Desk in the lobby if you need a private place to nurse your baby.
We do not offer a coat or bag check. However, we do offer the complimentary use of a private locker in the museum for your use on the day of your visit. Please store coats, large backpacks and bags over 12” H x 12” W x 5” D for the duration of your visit. Use of the lockers is complimentary and must be cleared out by the time the museum closes for the day. Please note personal luggage/ suitcases will not fit into the lockers and we do not offer luggage storage for larger items. We suggest finding alternative storage before arriving to the museum. The dimensions of the lockers are 21.5” H x 16” W x 16” D.
